Willow Interior Design grows from two decades of shaping spaces that nurture comfort, dignity and belonging. My work is rooted in empathy — in the quiet details that make daily life feel easier, calmer, more human.

The projects and photographs gathered here are from my work prior to founding Willow Interior Design. They trace the beginnings of a design language now carried forward — one that listens deeply, moves gently, and finds beauty in care.

TALL TREES, Shipton-under-Wychwood

Tall Trees sits in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. Overlooking the cricket ground with views across rolling limestone countryside, the comprehensive refurbishment of a complete 15-bedded community draws on the warmth of Cotswold stone, the woodland legacy of Wychwood and the unhurried rhythms of a village shaped by centuries of agricultural life.

A Complete 15-Bedded Community, Thoughtfully Restored

At the heart of this project was the full refurbishment of a complete 15-bedded community — reimagined from floor to ceiling to deliver a cohesive, resident-centred environment. Every bedroom, corridor and communal space within the community was redesigned to reflect the Cotswold character of its setting, with carefully coordinated finishes, improved wayfinding, enhanced natural light, and a domestic warmth that supports comfort, dignity and independence. The result is a community not merely a place to be cared for, but a place to call home.

PRIORSLEE HOUSE, Telford

Priorslee House in Telford is a new build designed to reflect the character and heritage of its East Shropshire setting. Inspired by the industrial heritage and quiet beauty of nearby Ironbridge, this 80-bed new build brings together warmth, craft and a sense of place.

The interiors draw on the area's history of ironwork, river landscapes and brickmaking, translated into a calm, contemporary palette that feels both familiar and uplifting. Every space is designed to support comfort, independence and everyday ease, creating a home that reflects Telford's past while looking confidently to the future.
