Willow Interior Design grows from two decades of shaping spaces that nurture comfort, dignity and belonging. Our work is rooted in empathy, in the quiet details that make daily life feel easier, calmer, more human.

The projects and photographs gathered here are from work prior to founding Willow Interior Design. They trace the beginnings of a design language now carried forward, one that listens deeply, moves gently, and finds beauty in care.

HEFFLE COURT, Heathfield

Heffle Court is a calm, dignified home shaped by the woodland character and quiet heritage of the High Weald.

Carefully refurbished, it honours the building's established identity while supporting the expectations of contemporary care. Inside, a warm palette of spice tones and softened blues is layered with natural textures, bringing depth, familiarity and gentle contrast to the spaces.

Communal areas are proportioned and detailed with care so colour, light and layout guide daily routines with quiet assurance, while a stronger connection to nature and discreetly integrated technology further support comfort, reassurance and the day-to-day delivery of care.

THE COACH HOUSE, Oaken Holt

The Coach House has been sensitively reimagined to support contemporary living for people with dementia, while retaining the character and grace of the existing building.

Generous ceiling heights bring airiness and daylight, while soft greens, muted stone tones and natural timber create a warm, composed interior.

Carefully considered planning balances openness with intimacy so rooms feel calm, reassuring and grounded in a domestic sense of proportion. Clear wayfinding, familiar cues and balanced lighting support confidence and independence, while adaptable communal spaces allow the home to respond gently to changing needs.
